Trenchless laying of new pressure pipelines up to diameters of DN (nominal diameter) 600 (600 mm) and section lengths of up to 100 m. This procedure is based on the hydros®PLUS technology and has been further expanded. Several successful projects have already been carried out in the Berlin area using this laying technology.
An economical and safe laying technology is guaranteed due to the combination of conventional boring technology for a pilot bore and the hydros®PLUS technology combined with a hydraulic flush head for driving the new pipeline.
The controlled pilot bore achieves a high laying accuracy.
Due to the use of a hydraulic flush head washout is prevented in comparison to other laying technologies.
The exclusive use of water as flushing medium makes handling easier compared to the use of clay-based flushing mediums. Additionally, the hydros®STAR technology can be used to replace pipes with large differences in diameter, e.g. DN 100 against DN 400.
