Licensing of the technologies

In Germany, the hydros®PLUS and hydros®STAR (trenchless replacement and laying of new mains) as well as the starline® technology (fabric hose relining of mains) are carried out nationwide by Group of Karl Weiss.

For these works, we use highly qualified personnel with state-of-the-art equipment.

We are happy to provide an offer for our construction services.

Our technologies for replacement and laying of new services (hydros®BOY and hydros®LEAD) are licensed to interested companies.

The licensing agreements have the following basic structure:

The licensee is given the know-how and the right to carry out the technology by obtaining a license. The licenses are usually limited to a certain area.
When obtaining the license the licensee is also provided with the equipment, like pulling units, transition pieces, adapters, etc., necessary for the technical implementation.
The licensing agreement also includes an extensive and thorough training program for the personnel who is carrying out the works, so that the technology is applied according to quality standards and economically for the licensee.
The licensor agrees to provide necessary spare parts for the licensed equipment to the licensee.
Licensor and licensee mutually agree to work together in a cooperative and confidential manner. The licensor will always support the licensee to the best of his ability and will be available for consultation.
