In our work we are always guided by principles. The integrated management system, which encompasses quality, environmental and occupational safety management, is our instrument for continually ensuring and further enhancing quality.

The integrated management system is an integral part of the overall management task for KARL WEISS Technologies GmbH, which is geared to ensuring and constantly increasing customer satisfaction, work safety, high quality standards and, last but not least, sustainability for the following generations. As early as 1994, KARL WEISS Technologies GmbH introduced a certified quality management system. We regularly examine ourselves through specialist companies and associations and strive for a continuous improvement process for our internal processes.

In order for the management system to form the basis of our daily activities, adjustments are continually made and, if necessary, new procedures and work instructions are drawn up. All relevant processes are regulated and are evaluated for their impact on the environment. The management commits itself and all employees to carry out their environmental, quality and safety relevant activities according to the requirements of the integrated management system. The quality and environmental management officer, our work safety specialists, the responsible specialists as well as the managers are responsible for the planning, monitoring and correction of the system, which is carried out by all employees.

Our system is based on the recommendations and requirements of the applicable standards and specifications of DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008, DIN EN ISO 14001: 2009, the AMS, laws and other regulations.

Environmental protection

The long-term development work of our trenchless technologies aims to reduce the impact on the environment, residents and traffic through pipeline construction measures to an absolutely necessary minimum. The use of these technologies in particular protects the vegetation as well as the public infrastructure. With our certified environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001, we reduce environmental risks, protect natural resources and sustainably improve our environmental performance. At regular intervals, we check our relevant environmental aspects and their effects. The criteria examined here are determined by means of key figures and are classified according to their potential occurrence probability and the effects on the environment. From this analysis, we can identify possible potential improvements that contribute to the optimization of our environmental balance.
